Screen Studies Conference 2020
The 30th International Screen Studies Conference, taking place at the University of Glasgow on 26-28 June 2020, welcomes proposals for papers, panels and audiovisual essays. The conference is organised by Screen editors Tim Bergfelder and Dimitris Eleftheriotis. The organisers particularly encourage contributions to a programming strand which will focus on the impact that recent calls to decolonise, de-centre, or de-Westernise established creative canons and intellectual approaches across academia and beyond have on the practices of and ideas in screen-based media. Keynote speakers who will address this particular strand of the conference are to be confirmed. More information on proposal templates and the deadline for submissions can be found online.
