NECSUS – Call for Proposals: Features Spring 2025_#Features
NECSUS is now inviting submissions for the upcoming Spring 2025 _#Features issue. Different to other NECSUS issue, the Spring 2025 issue will not include a thematic special section and instead focus on feature articles. Features are full-length research articles on a variety of topics related to media studies, broadly construed. We are seeking submissions with a critical perspective on a wide range of topics related to film and television, digital media, game studies, media history and more. This list is not exhaustive, and we welcome submissions on other relevant intersecting topics.
We look forward to receiving abstracts of 300 words, including 3-5 bibliographic references, 4-5 keywords, and a short biography of 100 words by 15 September 2024. Please submit your abstract by via this form. On the basis of selected abstracts writers will be invited to submit full manuscripts (6,000-8,000 words, revised abstract). Full Manuscripts are due on 1 February 2025 and will subsequently go through a double-blind peer review process. Access our submission guidelines here.
