The program of the 12th annual NECS Conference, which will take place from 27-29 June 2018 in Amsterdam, is now available online. Keynote speakers for the conference include Henry Jenkins (University of South California), Lisa Parks (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), and Kiki Tianqi Yu (University of the West of Scotland). NECS Conference activities will take place this year in two main locations throughout the city of Amsterdam, at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) – Oudemanhuispoort (OMHP) site and the Vrije Universiteit (VU) – main building. Pre-conference activities will take place from 25-26 June in two different locations in the nearby city of Utrecht, at University College Utrecht (for the NECS Graduate Workshop) and Het Huis Utrecht (for the event Media in Transition @ Utrecht University). Finally, a post-conference event on Open Access in Media Studies is organised on 30 June at the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. The NECS Conference website offers further details and information on all panels, keynote presentations, workshops, and general meetings.
