Conference – ‘Open Publishing Fest’
From 18-29 May 2020, the ‘Open Publishing Fest’ will be highlighting creative, scholarly, technological and civic open publishing projects online. In the collaborative format, sessions are hosted by individuals and organizations as panel discussions, fireside chats, demonstrations as well as performances. Invited curators include John Chodacki (California Digital Library), Chris Hartgerink (Liberate Science), Christine Fruin (Atla) and Martin Eve (Open Library of Humanities), with topics ranging from “microPublication: A Welcome Alternative in Scholarly Communication” to “Audio/Visual Preprints and the Mechanisms for Global Rapid Knowledge Exchange”.
