Tags: conference, ecomedia, epistemology, film studies

From 8-10 June 2022, Ryerson University (Canada), The University of Texas at Dallas (USA), University of Sao Paulo (Brazil), Leeds Trinity University (UK), and University of Bayreuth (Germany) will be hosting the 4th Interactive Film & Media Conference – exclusively online. Organized around the theme ‘Interactive Epistemology, Listening and Ecomedia’, the conference aims to explore how interactive film and media formats and technologies can open up new ways of knowing, practicing and being in an era of socio-ecological crisis. As three different strands, epistemology, listening and ecomedia function as a starting point to explore the conditions of interaction and interactivity in both theory and practice. Proposals for individual papers, workshops and exhibitions can be submitted until 17 January 2022. More information on the conference available here.
