Closing Seminar – ‘Digital Intimacies’
On 23 November 2021, ‘Digital Intimacies’ – a research project hosted at King’s College London and the University of Edinburgh – will host a series of talks and a panel discussion situating the findings of the research. With an interest in how queer men use smartphones to negotiate intimacy, the symposium will draw connections between cultures of intimacy, themes of vulnerability, the politics of race as well as trans politics. Speakers include members of the ‘Digital Intimacies’ team – Lewis Clarke, James Cummings, Jamie Hakim, Lauren Redfern and Ingrid Young – as well as respondents from social movements.
