The 2nd Alternative Film/Video Research Forum will take place on 12 December 2013 at Alternative Film/Video Belgrade. The forum is a gathering of critics, curators, theoreticians, and practitioners who are concerned with researching and writing on alternative forms of moving image culture. The organising theme for this edition of the forum is ‘fragmentation’. Presenters and participants include: Lucia Aspesi (Hangar Bicocca, Milan), Branka Benčić (Independent Curator, Zagreb), Enrico Camporesi (University Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3/University of Bologna), Nevena Daković (Faculty of Dramatic Arts Belgrade), Miriam De Rosa (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan), Terri Francis (University of Pennsylvania), Bryan Konefsky (Experiments in Cinema/University of New Mexico), Kamila Kuc (Kingston University/Brighton University), Adeena Mey (University of Lausanne/ECAL), Bruce Posner (Independent Curator, New Hampshire), James Snazell (Edge Hill University). The Alternative Film/Video Research Forum is curated by Greg de Cuir, Jr, selector/programmer of Alternative Film/Video Belgrade and managing editor of NECSUS.
